ALS (or Lou Gehrig’s disease) is a progressive and fatal neuromuscular disease that paralyzes the voluntary muscles of the body. As yet, there is no cure and the cause is unknown. In Canada alone, up to 3,000 people live with ALS at any given time.

Every dollar raised through your participation in this our 8th Annual Amethyst evening will contribute to two vital causes. Approximately 350 patients are assisted annually by our Hamilton Health Sciences ALS Clinic. Equally valuable, you will support Dr. John Turnbull’s ALS research team in their efforts toward an eventual cure for this devastating disease.

Please join us for this special evening. Together we can make a difference in the lives of our ALS Community!
