Being a kid can be tough. Being a kid in hospital can be even tougher. That’s why programs like Child Life are necessary.
Child life specialists work with children and their families to help kids cope with the challenges of hospitalization and make sure that kids are playing while they’re in the hospital.
Play is such an important part of a child’s psychosocial health and development.
With your support, the Child Life Team will purchase critical toys and bedside activities that support the developmental and educational needs of patients, many of whom aren’t able to leave their rooms.
